The Ministry of Truth

In case you haven’t noticed, there is a war going on. I’m not talking about Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya or any of the other places the U.S. is involved in armed conflict. The war I am referring to is taking place in the minds of every American citizen on a daily basis. It is the most important battle being fought today involving the very soul of man and has grave consequences for the ignorant and uncaring. The opposing forces in the battle call themselves TRUTH and LIES. Right now concerning most citizens, the LIES are winning.

Although the effects of the battle can be seen in the rapid destruction of the country once known as the “land of the free and home of the brave” it does not begin with any human entity. The enemy we face is one that cannot be seen, “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). It is the forces of darkness of which Satan is prince that is waging war against humanity. While nation is rising up against nation and people are busy fighting human foes, Satan has silently crafted a web of deception so strong that most people do not even recognize exists. It is the classic case of divide and conquer, while the real enemy goes undetected.

The Bible describes Satan as the prince of this world (Ephesians 2:1-3). It is Satan who offered Jesus rulership of the kingdoms of this world. Though Jesus was victorious over Satan through his resurrection, the full manifestation of his Lordship throughout the earth has not been realized and won’t be until He returns to establish it. Until then, the governments of this world are under still under Satan’s control. The unseen principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness hold the majority of humanity firmly within their grip. This is why there have been so many wars and so much bloodshed and conflict throughout human history. Man without God is under the control of his sinful nature and remains under the domain of Satan, the first sinner. Unrepentant man and the governments they create all have the strain of Satanic DNA operating in them.

Satan is the father of lies and a master of sleight of hand. Anyone who is an habitual liar and practices to deceive others is controlled by him. Have we not seen over the past ten years especially that our government lies to us on a regular basis? The Satanic influence in government is flooding the earth with its continuous barrage of lies and deception. God has been merciful to those desiring truth in allowing these dark secrets to be brought into the light. Have you opened your eyes long enough to peer through the thick cloud of deception?

There is nothing worse for a government that works in the shadows, secretly plotting against those it is supposed to serve than to be exposed by truth seekers. This is why oppressive governments work so hard to keep the masses ignorant. Through propaganda, disinformation, cover ups, intimidation, censorship and fear the American government has perpetuated some of the greatest frauds in history all within the past decade.

In his book 1984, George Orwell keenly described a vision of a futuristic society where history and truth would be hidden (or completely rewritten), independent thought discouraged and punished, and dissent extinguished. Fast forward to present day America and there has arisen a powerful apparatus of suppression, oppression and the perpetual surveillance of potentially all its citizens. Big Brother has truly taken hold. Orwell’s term for this subtle, yet powerful act of warfare by the government against its citizens was “Newspeak.” The main character, Winston Smith worked at the Ministry of Truth. The Ministry’s primary responsibility was to deceive its citizenry by creating a new language that would obscure present truth and blot out the records of history. Within the Ministry, the Record Department’s

primary job was not to reconstruct the past but to supply the citizens of Oceania with newspapers, films, textbooks, telescreen programmes, plays, novels — with every conceivable kind of information, instruction, or entertainment, from a statue to a slogan, from a lyric poem to a biological treatise, and from a child’s spelling-book to a Newspeak dictionary. And the Ministry had not only to supply the multifarious needs of the party, but also to repeat the whole operation at a lower level for the benefit of the proletariat. There was a whole chain of separate departments dealing with proletarian literature, music, drama, and entertainment generally. Here were produced rubbishy newspapers containing almost nothing except sport, crime and astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, films oozing with sex, and sentimental songs which were composed entirely by mechanical means on a special kind of kaleidoscope known as a versificator. There was even a whole sub-section — Pornosec, it was called in Newspeak — engaged in producing the lowest kind of pornography, which was sent out in sealed packets and which no Party member, other than those who worked on it, was permitted to look at.          

If this does not sound like the modern day media and entertainment industries then I don’t know what does!

Newspeak is an Orwellian term for what we would call in America “political correctness.” Society as a whole has been dumbed down with mindless forms of entertainment, common linguistic terms have been redefined and or abbreviated and the Ministry of Truth main stream media has become complicit in government cover ups and in promoting a steady stream of brainwashing. Independent thought and critical analysis is repressed. Most discussion about the political, economic, and social state of the country are divided by manipulated party lines. The citizens of the country are being homogenized and conditioned to think in certain ways that benefit those in power. Those who realize this become targets needing to be silenced.

If you discuss the pertinent issues of the day in a way they are uncomfortable with, you are branded a conspiracy theorist. This is an easy way to marginalize and censor those who do not believe everything they are told. I am well aware that there are many out there who make their living by selling fear, but this is no excuse to hide inside a shell like a turtle and wait for everything to be alright. We must deal openly and honestly in order to arrive at truth. It is vitally important to both understand what is taking place in America and the rest of the world and to have the knowledge that God has provided in His word and through His spirit. It is not enough to expose every lie under the sun like an Alex Jones, but have no solutions. The solutions are to be found in the Word of God and by having a strong relationship with its Author.

In 1984, The Ministry of Truth coined three slogans by which it perverted all forms of education, entertainment, and fine arts:

WAR IS PEACE

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

These three expressions are constantly being programmed into the minds of ordinary Americans. Now, let’s take a look at some of the specific ways Newspeak has been employed to paralyze the thinking of Americans in recent years. Christians especially should be ashamed of themselves for believing these fabrications as they subvert the gospel of Christ!

  • The War on Terror – This expression is nothing but classic Orwellian Newspeak, doublethink and doublespeak. War is terror! How can you have a war on terror by employing the very same tactics to fight it? In the war in Iraq, the U.S. unleashed its tactic of Shock and Awe and created collateral damage (that means innocent human lives) that possibly total in the millions! While the War on Terror was supposed to bring peace to America, and freedom and democracy to Iraq; it instead brought destruction and death to Iraqis who had nothing at all to do with any strike on American soil. This is nothing short of the fulfillment of 1984’s Ministry of Truth edict, WAR IS PEACE!

Regarding America’s foray into the War on Terror, Pastor Greg Boyd stated in his book The Myth of a Christian Nation,“That a political leader would use religious rhetoric to rally people around a military cause is not surprising. This is typical in all versions of the kingdom of the world. What is surprising, and cause for great concern, is that many evangelicals were not only not disturbed by this­–they applauded it.”

  • Operation Enduring Freedom was used as the name for the war in Afghanistan that has killed over 34,000 Afghani civilians. If freedom is a synonym for murder then Enduring Freedom has been a huge success! Americans have been beguiled into believing FREEDOM IS SLAVERY (AND DEATH).
  • President Barak Obama was prematurely awarded the Nobel Peace Prize while still conducting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has since begun new war efforts in Pakistan, Yemen, and Libya. WAR IS PEACE all over again.
  • “They hate our freedoms – our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.” This famous quote was stated by former President George W. Bush nine days after the September 11 attacks. A little over a month later he signed the Patriot Act into law; a monumental piece of legalese that served to limit many of the freedoms Bush mentioned in his speech. The Patriot Act was approved by Congress with the majority not taking the time to read its contents. The reason countries in the Middle East and many other parts of the world are antagonistic towards the U.S. is because we are constantly meddling in their affairs! We assassinate their leaders, install puppet governments and military bases, rob them of their resources, murder and impoverish their citizens and export much of the filth of American culture. It has nothing to do with them being jealous of our freedom! WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
  • Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) – Where to begin with this one? If you have paid any attention you would clearly know by now that Iraq had no WMDs. America supposedly invaded Iraq because it was believed to have aided Osama Bin Laden in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and was advancing in its creation and potential use of WMDs. This has proven to be false. It was simply a campaign of disinformation designed to get the American people to acquiesce to war while murdering another country’s leader and setting up a military empire right in the heart of the oil rich middle east. IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

And the list could go on for much longer than I care to write at this time. Americans have been conditioned to accept Newspeak. Vladimir Lenin once said, “a lie told often enough becomes truth.” This is a sad, but very true statement. Many people believe lies so intensely they will act like you just insulted their mother if you attempt to tell them the truth.

The organized church in America is largely responsible for the state we find ourselves in. This may sound like a shocking statement, but please hear me out. Many of the church’s most prominent leaders have joined ranks with those in power (politically and economically) and have promoted wars, assassinations, genocide, economic sanctions, and the destruction of societies worldwide. The church has decided that the sword of earthly government is more efficient than the cross of Christ. Many Christians have traded truth for lies and have called good evil and evil good (Isaiah 5:20). Conservative, Right-Wing Christianity has mounted the back of the beastly system of government that is terrorizing it’s own citizens as well as many around the world. They have gone after another lover and have left their first love in mistaking America for the Kingdom of God. Repentance is needed or judgment will most certainly occur.

The modern Ministry of Truth in the United States has captivated the minds of most of the citizens in this country and have caused them to accept atrocities committed in their name in numerous places around the world. To make matters even worse is that many of these heinous crimes have been committed in the name of Jesus.

We have given up many of our constitutional rights in order to be protected from the “evil doers”, but we really need protection from ourselves. It is only by the ministry of God’s truth that this situation can be rectified. God is fully able to turn the tide if only we would heed his Word. The question is, do we even want it anymore?

I have tried to warn others of many of the same things you are warning about and I can tell you – they really do “shoot the messenger!”. Your writings have caused deep repentance with tears and have encouraged me to continue my own writings and warnings. God bless you!
