They That Wait Upon the Lord

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31.

To all subscribers and readers of this blog, I am writing you with a sense of urgency like never before. We are entering a time that will be irreversible and devastating. With the threat of the U.S. entering into a war with Syria, we are on the precipice of unprecedented world events long ago predicted by our Father through his ancient prophets. I am asking you to pray fervently about these things because the effective, fervent prayers of the righteous avails much.

I have written much on this blog about the deceptions taking place that most Americans have been sleeping through. Once again, we face being deceived into a war that could potentially ignite World War III and usher in the darkest days humanity has ever seen. However, this time I am proud to write that most Americans are voicing their opinions against this latest proposal of U.S. war schemes. Whether the reason is from pure self-preservation or a genuine concern for the people of Syria becoming the latest victims of U.S. intervention, I cannot determine. But, regardless of the motivation, saying no to this latest war endeavor is a good thing.

The hypocrisy of our U.S. government leaders is astounding. Are we really supposed to believe that “retaliation” against Syria won’t lead to even more innocent civilian deaths? Are we really to believe a government that has sanctioned killing it’s own citizens both at home and abroad with drone strikes? Are we really supposed to believe our representatives who previously lied us into war against Iraq, a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. The U.S. war machine has spilled more innocent blood in the so-called “war on terror” in the last ten years than every other country on earth combined. But, never mind all of this, we are rushing in to save the Syrian people from an evil dictator who gassed his own people. This is the same trite excuse used to oust Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq when the U.S. elite had other dubious motives. Have you seen pictures or read about the U.S. embassy there? Believe me, the hidden hand of the U.S. elite has other, secret reasons for wanting to get rid of Assad. And, keep in mind, there is still no concrete proof that Assad is responsible for what happened in Ghouta. Nor has it been proven that chemical weapons were even used.

Many of our political leaders did not learn the lessons that rushing to war against Afghanistan and Iraq should have taught us. Faulty evidence, brought forth by the intelligence community and presented to us by former Secretary of State Colin Powell, led us into searching for weapons of mass destruction that were never found. Saddam Hussein was assassinated and President Bush declared victory in Iraq way back in May of 2003. Needless to say, the war did not end then, a mere two months after its inception and to this day, there is still war being conducted on Iraqi soil. Millions of innocent men, women and children have been murdered, tortured, maimed, and/or impoverished. Our own soldiers succumbed to extreme barbarism, displaying their penchant for murder and torture as was evidenced in Abu Ghraib. Many of them returned from their tour of duty only to be plagued by PTSD and other severe disorders. The country’s economy was sapped from 10 years of endless war not to be outdone by the ridiculous government bailouts rescuing the rich at the expense of the middle class and poor.

The world sat back and watched these events and new alliances began forming. The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) have formulated and funded plans for a new banking system to not only rival Western dominance, but completely topple it. Russia and China have vehemently opposed military intervention in Syria and have each issued their own threats if the U.S. defies international law once again. So, the stage is set for the nations of the world to take sides on this issue and it’s apparent that U.S. allies in this jaded venture are very few. Because of the major players that are involved, the consequences are very grave.

With all that said, it is my belief that many prophetic events outlined in scripture are soon to take place. Jesus told the disciples,

“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come…For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be… And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.

Matthew 5-14, 22-25.

It is my opinion, and many other voices in the body of Christ agree, that we have just about arrived at the time that the events outlined in these verses will escalate. Contrary to popular teaching, Christians will not be flying away to heaven in some secret rapture while the world goes to hell in a hand basket. Great tribulation is soon to arrive, but we are not to be incited by fear but to respond in faith. We are here to fight a battle for the Kingdom of God. We have been called to be soldiers in the Army of Lord, not using carnal weapons, but those spiritual weapons that are capable of pulling down the enemy’s strongholds. We have been commissioned to fight, not run and hide while the world perishes. We have the truth, we have the life and we have the hope that the world needs.

The times we are entering will not be survived by those who are still playing church. This is the time when the wheat will be separated from the chaff, the sheep from the goats, the true from the false. The wise and foolish of this generation will be revealed. The Bible teaches that the time of great tribulation is filled with catastrophic events such as famine, earthquakes, wars, diseases, and much bloodshed and death. With the threat of these events upon us it is imperative that we fill our lamps with oil now. The hour is late. Do not be deceived.

Despite all of these horrible events that will escalate globally, we must take solace in the fact that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. Waiting on the Lord deals with hope and expectation. Psalm 34:19 states that,

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

It’s time to remove our distractions and look solely upon our Rock, our Savior, our Comforter, our Provider to guide us through the days of gross darkness. We must remember to seek first His kingdom and righteousness so that he can meet all our needs doing the coming time of tribulation. He has promised he would never leave us or forsake us and we must be firm in our belief that he is faithful to his word.

There will come a time when all of the comforts and provisions we are used to will cease. It will be a time when we will get to fully exercise the faith that we claim to have. Our Christian brothers and sisters are being persecuted, tortured, and even murdered in many places around the globe. Places of worship are being burned and pastors are being beheaded while the church in America is playing games. What will we do if these types of things begin happening in America?

Will you join me in prayer for discernment, faith, wisdom, understanding, and divine guidance on behalf of all the saints and our leaders in government? Please also remember to pray for your brethren in Christ who are already under the gun facing intense persecution.

  2. The WMD’s not found in Iraq were shipped to Syria, along with billions in gold from Saddam’s treasure chest which assured the WMD’s acceptance into Syria, because the inspectors had to disclose their arrival date in Iraq. Moreover, the history of Syria of Iraq are common knowledge.

Just as with Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and now Syria the U.S. finds itself in the middle of a multifaceted conflict involving government forces, sectarian militias, terrorist groups and regional actors. To critics, it is not worth risking American lives in another nation’s civil war, let alone one in which there was scant hope of a successful resolution. To supporters of intervention, we have to play a key role to play in restoring peace and stability in a crucial part of the world.

On October 23, 1983, a Hezbollah terrorist drove a truck filled with over 12,000 pounds of TNT into the Marine barracks at the Beirut International Airport, killing 241 Marines in what was at the time the deadliest terrorist attack on Americans in history. At a press conference the following day, Reagan reiterated the importance of the mission. “By promoting peace in Lebanon, we strengthen the forces for peace throughout the Middle East,” Reagan said. “This is not a Republican or a Democratic goal but one that all Americans share.” He added, “We must not allow international criminals and thugs such as these to undermine the peace in Lebanon…. If others feel confident that they can intimidate us and our allies in Lebanon, they will become more bold elsewhere.”

We will never know what would have happened had the U.S. Marines stayed in Lebanon, we do know what happened after they left. Hezbollah became one of the fiercest terrorist groups in the world, and established a state within a state in southern Lebanon that continues to stand in the way of reform and is a threat to peace in the region.

Osama bin Laden, for one, took notice. In a 1996 fatwa, bin Laden cited the Beirut Marine barracks bombing in making his case that America was a paper tiger whose leaders talked tough but would withdraw at the first sight of casualties.

More specifically, there is a strong relationship between the Beirut bombing and al Qaeda’s attacks on U.S. Embassies in Africa 15 years later. The attack on the Marine barracks was studied at al Qaeda training camps, and bin Laden sent al Qaeda operatives to Lebanon to obtain explosives instruction from Hezbollah and to learn how to bomb large buildings. Maybe all of the armchair quarterbacks should stop and consider what happens if Hezbollah, who is in Syria, gets their hands on chemical, biological or nuclear materials. Oh I can hear the up roar now should those terrorists bring captured chemical weapons here and release them in YOUR neighborhood. Then, as typical Americans, there will be an outrage that we should have done something to prevent the terrorists from obtaining these weapons.

As the nation debates intervention, the Lebanon experience provides a cautionary tale. In 1984, there was a strong case to be made for pulling out of Lebanon, but there were also disastrous long-term consequences stemming from that decision. Should the U.S. not intervene in Syria, it will ensure terrorists a safe haven, and worse yet, reinforce the view that America, for all of its military might, does not have the stomach to fight terrorism. Let us have an honest and open debate about the challenges we face in Syria, but let us never succumb to the illusion as to the consequences of thinking that we can ignore the historical facts and cultural predisposition.

    • Thank you for commenting David. But, I must admit I disagree with all of the points you have made. I would also like to ask for you to please cite sources for the “facts” you have written about. It is much too easy today to claim our opinions and what we hear in the media as fact, but unless we do some digging on our own we are probably accepting lies or distortions of truth.

You claim that “the WMD’s not found in Iraq were shipped to Syria…” Where is the proof of this?

You stated that “to supporters of intervention, we have to play a key role in restoring peace and stability in a crucial part of the world.” I’d like to ask you how bombing another country promotes peace and stability. Did it promote peace and stability in Iraq or Afghanistan?

Perhaps you may not realize this, but there are factions inside the’t that have been planning wars in Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia and Sudan for years. You may also not realize that the U.S. has been arming and funding rebel forces in Syria linked to Al Qaeda since 2006. This is the same Al Qaeda the U.S. was fighting against in Afghanistan and Iraq. How is it that the U.S. can claim to fight against this boogeyman terror network in previous wars, but is now supporting them in an attempt to overthrow Assad’s regime in Syria? Does this not seem strange?

You mentioned Osama bin Laden. Perhaps you did not know that he was in fact a CIA asset recruited to fight against the Soviet Union in the Soviet-Afghan war. Maybe you do not understand that the CIA created what we know as Al Qaeda and has been using them as a pawn in their quest to build the American empire in the Middle East. Not only has the U.S. been supplying Syria’s rebel leaders linked to Al Qaeda, the U.S. also supported them in the overthrow of Gaddafi’s regime in Libya and installed Muslim Brotherhood puppets in his place responsible for the killing of Christians in Egypt.

The cautionary tale being told has nothing to do with the Lebanon experience of 1984. No, the tale is much more recent than that. We have been lied to repeatedly regarding the conflicts the U.S. military has been directly involved in or have supported over the last ten plus years. Nothing is really as it seems on the surface and war is never the prescription for peace. Do you not realize that the US has the largest supply of chemical, nuclear and biological weapons of any country in the world? Do you realize that the USA used chemical weapons in Iraq! Oh, the hypocrisy of it all just reeks.

Intervening in Syria is a dangerous game for a myriad of reasons. You believe the U.S has good intentions in Syria. I do not, given all the reasons I have just stated. The US is in the business of empire building, not humanitarian aid or peace. A “peaceful” nation does not wage war against a foreign country based on lies and deceit. A “peaceful” nation does not commission drone strikes that kill innocent civilians. You are deceived if you think the US is not complicit in all of the wars, uprisings, regime change, and hostility taking place in the Middle East and Northern Africa.

The war on terror is a creation of the powers behind the PNAC. The events we are witnessing have been planned in secret long ago. The public is lied to and deceived on a regular basis. Not only that we are spied on routinely as if we are the terrorists. The challenges we face in Syria could lead to an global war. Surely there are other means to resolving this “conflict” than sending missiles and drones to topple yet another foreign government hidden powers in the US want removed.

  4. brorunnels says:

You ask for proof that WMDs were shipped from Iraq to Syria. I, personally, am as close to that proof that most anyone here will ever see or here.

I was an active duty Soldier serving from November 1997 until June 2011. During the later years of my enlistment I was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom on several occasions. The most important and significant of all my deployments came in late 2005 through 2006 when I was selected as an individual to deploy with 10 other Soldiers, who I had never met before, to Iraq to support the transition of security from the United States to the Iraqi Security Forces. This was to be accomplished under the guidance of General Casey by creating and establishing imbedded “teams” of functional experts to train and mentor their Iraqi unit of assignment. The secondary role of these teams were to obtain intelligence and any other sensitive information from local residents by being a regular part of the immediate community in a way that “trust”, over time, can be established between Soldiers and the locals. As you can imagine, they wouldn’t share anything with those Soldiers who kick down doors in the middle of the night and drive through towns shooting everything up. Would you? It was our hope that by having a regular and peaceful presence we could foster that kind of confidence from them. These teams were specific to the types of Iraqi units they were to supposed to support. They were broken into 3 categories: (1) MTT, Military Transition Teams; (2) BTT, Border Transition Teams; (3) SPTT, Security Police Transition Teams.

I was assigned to a BTT with the mission of training the Iraqi Soldiers assigned to the border security operations of the Iraqi Border Police. Their primary function is very similar to that of the U.S. Border Patrol, with the additional responsibility of preventing the inflow of insurgents and bomb making materials from across the border of Syria. I spent many nights awake while trying to live in Iraqi bases and outnumbered 30 to 1 by a foreign military. It was a very eye-opening experience. We received all U.S. support and sustainment from COP Heider, located in the village of Rabiah which is at the border checkpoint of the only major highway, Route 1, into Syria from Baghdad. I was established and able to gain the confidence and trust of many of the local villagers in the village of Rabiah. Many pleasant conversations can be recalled, but only one that had any true military significance. That conversation was the testimony of 20 to 30 men to the fact that before the invasion they personally witnessed “bombs” being transported by semi trucks through their border checkpoint into Syria. That was very significant intel! Many of these witnesses were employees of the checkpoint inspection stations. They had seen this massive ammunition movement with their own eyes. I immediately relayed this information through my chain of command and many villagers were interrogated by the ODA, Army Special Forces, operating in the local area. I know for a fact that this information was reported up the chain by my team chief; what I don’t know is what happened with the information after the Special Forces did their “information extraction”.

These villagers were very sincere and detailed in their descriptions of the events regarding these “bombs”. I have absolutely no reason to doubt that they were true. However, it is to be only speculated that these “bombs” were or included warheads containing weapons of mass destruction.

Please understand that I agree with most, if not all, of what you have stated in this particular article. However, due to my very personal first hand experiences regarding the above information I just presented to you, I cannot agree that just because they weren’t found means that they were never there.

    • Correct. I am a retired government agent that monitored communications traffic in that sector. I also can verify that the WMD’s were there. There are data and voice transmissions that clearly show the movement of those weapons from Iraq into Syria.

And I do not agree with any of his pipe dreams. We pay folks to put their lives on the line to protect us and those serving abroad. It is none of his business as to the methods utilized to protect his freedom. We can never sacrifice security and safety just because someone thinks they know what is really going on. Armchair quarterbacks have always been a detriment to those who have commited to serve their country.

      • @ hotfreight, Thank you for your comments. As I mentioned previously, just because Syria was in possession of WMD’s does not give the US a free pass to declare war against a sovereign nation. As I also mentioned before, there is still no proof that Assad’s forces launched the chemical attack in Ghouta. There are a myriad of reports that document the attacks being conducted by the insurgents who the US are supporting.

A concerned citizen is not an armchair quarterback. I do not have to be on the front lines abroad to be educated and concerned about how the U.S. is conducting it’s affairs domestically and abroad. As a law-abiding, tax paying citizen I have the right to disagree with the way this country engages in foreign affairs. Do you think that reporters who have also risked their lives and careers to provide accurate reporting of current affairs are also armchair quarterbacks?

    • @ brorunnels, Thank you for disclosing this information. I also have family members that served in Iraq although in a different capacity. My comments were not meant to disparage the efforts of our military. However, regardless of whether or not Syria possessed WMDs, my premise was that the U.S. does not have the right to declare war on a sovereign nation because of this. Besides, there is still no concrete proof that Assad’s forces were the ones who launched the chemical attack in Ghouta. It is sad that a peaceful solution was brokered by Russian President Putin while the only solution sought by U.S. leaders was military intervention.

      • L. Smith I doubt if you knew, or could understand the truth if you bumped into it on a sunny day. You are an opportunist that plays upon the emotions of folks who fail to do their research. You have two eyewitness accounts regarding the WMD’s but just like those you berate, you side step the valid information and promote your own agenda. What’s your motive?

If you so enthralled regarding Comrade Putin’s plan then why don’t you just move to Russia?

Notice your theories were incorrect as usual. No missiles were launched and war was never declared.

        Ministry? Really?

        (1 Peter 2:13) Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
(1 Peter 2:14) Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
(1 Peter 2:15) For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
(1 Peter 2:16) As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
(1 Peter 2:17) Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
(1 Peter 2:18) Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
(1 Peter 2:19) For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
(1 Peter 2:20) For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
We are not to rail on the government.

      • David,

I will address all of your previous comments.

First, the context of 1 Peter 2:13-20 does not include blind obedience to authorities requiring a believer to do something that violates God’s word. We are to submit to authorities as long as we are not being asked to disobey God in the process. There are numerous examples of this throughout scripture. When the disciples were ordered to stop preaching in the name of Jesus, they disobeyed and continued to deliver the gospel. Their actions landed them in prison. Their response to authority was, “We ought to obey God rather than men…” (Acts 5:29). When Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were commanded by the King to worship the golden image or be thrown into the fire, they disobeyed his command and were prepared to face the consequences. They understood that the King’s decree violated God’s command to have no other gods before him. They told the King directly that they would not obey this order (Daniel 3:8-30). So, we as Christians have a duty to submit ourselves to authorities only if they are not in conflict with God’s laws. I believe that threatening war unjustly against another country that has not harmed the U.S. in any way conflicts with God’s laws. That is why I wrote what I wrote. Do you believe that Chinese Christians who meet secretly and do not register their churches with the Three-Self Patriot Movement are guilty of violating 1 Peter 2:13-20? Governments are not always right and we do not owe them blind allegiance.

I Timothy 2:1-2 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

Paul urges us to pray for those in authority so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives in our service to God. At the end of my blog post, this is exactly what I encouraged readers to do. Many of the decisions made by authority figures in our government have led to the persecution of Christian brethren in places like Egypt and Syria. The U.S. has assisted the rebels in Syria and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Both are responsible for acts of violence, abuse, church burnings, and even murder of Christians in those countries. I believe this is evil and should be called attention to. There is a huge difference between what you term as “railing on the government” and criticizing government policies and practices that promote atrocities and wickedness both domestically and abroad.

I am not sure what theories you are referring to being incorrect. The reason no missiles were launched and war was never declared is because Pres. Obama could not get approval from Congress. This was largely due to the overwhelming response from the American people who were not in favor of military action against Syria. I sent a letter to my state representatives and signed several petitions against this directive. That is what citizens of this country have the right to do. Disagreement does not mean rebellion or hostility towards authority. Still, even with a majority of Americans against military intervention, the President still eagerly sought approval to launch an attack against Syria. It was not until Putin brokered a plan with Syria for them to give up their weapons that talks of war began to cease. So, kudos to Putin. This does not mean I desire to move to Russia and that I agree with everything Putin has done.

Eyewitness accounts regarding Syria possessing WMDs is not the main issue. I have already acknowledged that Syria was in possession of these weapons. What has not been proven is who used them (although according to my research, there is far more evidence that the insurgent/rebel forces in fact used those weapons in Ghouta). What is also in question is whether the US had the right to militarily intervene in Syria. I dare say that the facts currently available regarding both of these questions run contrary to the information the American public has been fed by the White House and most mainstream media outlets. I have done my homework, and there are a myriad of sources that have directly contradicted the intel that Assad’s forces used chemical weapons on Syrian citizens. So, it is a matter of who you believe. The U.S. government has lied many times before so I am always cautious about believing what they are saying. You may disagree with what is written here, but the information contained in the linked article contains many facts regarding this situation.

I have no agenda or motive other than to understand the times we are living in, call attention to evil operating in high places, and to present current events in light of scripture. If you do not agree with what is written on this blog that is fine. We do not have to be in agreement on these issues. However, if you are a brother in Christ we must agree to love one another and not throw around accusations that cannot be supported. Calling me an “opportunist that plays upon the emotions of folks who fail to do their research” is insulting and really unnecessary. If you disagree with the information I have presented, please keep your comments focused on the issues. If you want to read information that backs up your own opinions then why not just read another blog?

If you think I am a mere peon just spewing forth random opinions, I invite you to read some of the work of Paul Craig Roberts, a former government insider and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal. His criticisms go well beyond what I have written and this is from someone with inside knowledge like yourself.

Finally, I’d like to ask you two questions:

        1. If you believe that the U.S. was justified in launching a military attack on Syria without concrete proof of what happened, how do you back this up according the Bible?
        2. Do you have any proof that Assad’s forces were responsible for the attack in Ghouta?

If you care to respond, please only address the issues that I have raised. If you try to discredit me with name calling and/or questioning my motives you will be blocked.

      • “With the threat of the U.S. entering into a war with Syria, we are on the precipice of unprecedented world events long ago predicted by our Father through his ancient prophets.”

        Those are your words!

There was never any threat! Wake up! It had nothing to do with the will of the people, It had everything to do with politics. President Obama could have launched missiles without the approval of Congress. He asked for approval and knew they would not grant that approval. He is smart. It made him look strong in the eyes of RINO’s. So again your theories are wrong.

And you NEVER addressed the comments by two persons who knew that the WMD’s were transferred from Iraq to Syria.

“Are we really supposed to believe our representatives who previously lied us into war against Iraq, a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks. ”

You words again! And two persons gave you information that America KNEW the WMD’s were in Iraq! Wrong again! Strike two.

“Nor has it been proven that chemical weapons were even used.”

Strike three! You are out. We do know and did know that chemical weapons were used!

And if I disagree with you you threaten to block me? Wow! Share the love!

Let’s see what the Bible has to say.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
        (Proverbs 27:6)

It was never my intention to discredit you. You are left to your own devices.

A legend in your own mind. Peace!

      • “L. Smith I doubt if you knew, or could understand the truth if you bumped into it on a sunny day.”

        “Ministry? Really?”

“Armchair quarterbacks have always been a detriment to those who have commited to serve their country.”

“You are an opportunist that plays upon the emotions of folks who fail to do their research. ”

“Notice your theories were incorrect as usual.”

        “Strike three! You are out.”

“A legend in your own mind.”

Those are your words! Do they sound like someone who is trying to engage in a civil discussion of an important issue?

“There was never any threat! Wake up! It had nothing to do with the will of the people, It had everything to do with politics. President Obama could have launched missiles without the approval of Congress. He asked for approval and knew they would not grant that approval. He is smart. It made him look strong in the eyes of RINO’s. So again your theories are wrong.”

To say that there was never any threat is asinine. If there was not serious consideration of military action against Syria, why would this have even been brought to the public’s attention? Even though Congress gave every indication that they would not approve, Pres. Obama still went on television the night of September 10 to illicit support from the American people, two days after I wrote my blog post. These are his words,

“…This is not a world we should accept. This is what’s at stake. And that is why, after careful deliberation, I determined that it is in the national security interests of the United States to respond to the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons through a targeted military strike. The purpose of this strike would be to deter Assad from using chemical weapons, to degrade his regime’s ability to use them, and to make clear to the world that we will not tolerate their use.”

The actual vote was delayed in Congress so the administration could continue beating the drums for military intervention in the hopes to solicit more support from the people. It was not until Putin presented his plan that talks of a military strike began to die down. Congress was never forced to officially vote because of this. These are the facts.

“And you NEVER addressed the comments by two persons who knew that the WMD’s were transferred from Iraq to Syria.”

You are wrong. I addressed this issue the first time you brought it up by asking for proof. You did not mention you had first hand knowledge of what you were speaking. You simply made statements that were not backed up with any real sources. Am I just supposed to take some random commenter’s word or am I justified in asking for proof? I also addressed the other individual, BroRunnels by thanking him for providing his eyewitness account. In my previous comments to you, I also acknowledged that Syria was in possession of these weapons. So, why are you beating a dead horse?

“You words again! And two persons gave you information that America KNEW the WMD’s were in Iraq! Wrong again! Strike two.”

The other eyewitness to WMD’s in Iraq was not referencing the time period I was speaking of in the blog post. He was referencing his tour of duty in late 2005-2006 and weapons being transferred through Iraq to Syria. When I wrote, “Are we really supposed to believe our representatives who previously lied us into war against Iraq, a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks,” I was referring to the launch of the Iraq war beginning in March 2003. I was referring to the trumped up intel from Colin Powell regarding Iraq possessing WMDs as a pretext for declaring war against them.

“Nor has it been proven that chemical weapons were even used.”

At the time of writing, there was much contradictory information regarding exactly what happened in Ghouta. The word alleged was being used in regards to the chemical attack. This was why I made this statement. Since then, it is clear that chemical weapons were used in Ghouta. The official UN report proving the use of chemical weapons was published on September 13, five days after I wrote this blog post. What has not been proven still is if Assad’s forces were the perpetrators.

“And if I disagree with you you threaten to block me? Wow! Share the love!”

I did not say that I would block you if you disagreed with me. This is what I said, “If you care to respond, please only address the issues that I have raised. If you try to discredit me with name calling and/or questioning my motives you will be blocked.” You did not heed my wishes so this will be our last communication on this blog.

@ L. Smith, I have only recently found your blogsite and would like to say that I am very refreshed to see your faithfulness in the Truth. My testimony is eerily similar to yours even to the creation of a blog in an attempt to share the Truth to bring people from this huge deception created by Satan called government and organized religion. I just wanted you to know that you are doing a great thing and are not alone in the objective of your ministry. Please feel free to contact me by email for a partner in your work.

    In Christ,
